Hey guys! Welcome back and I can't wait to catch up on everything you have missed.
I have been running this blog for almost 6 years and last year I took a break. I studied abroad for 5 months in Sydney, Australia with my best friends and I honestly took a break from writing for a while. I started making videos on my youtube channel of all the amazing places I travelled to. I got to share the beautiful places I saw, the crazy things I did (sorry about the bungy jumping mom) and I met incredible people. I came home in July and my life was honestly utter chaos. I had a really hard time acclimating back into "real life" and had lost a lot of the joy and excitement my life once had. I was strongly struggling in the mental health department and it took me some time to find my passions again.
But here I am a few months later, in a really great headspace and so incredibly motivated to get back to the things I care about most. In 2020, I promised myself I would make choices for myself and that if I felt inspiration I would follow that with no regrets or hesitations. I'm now uploading WEEKLY on my youtube channel and I'm doing things I was once so afraid to do because of what people would think or say. If I learned anything over the last year of my life it's that life is too short to wait around to follow your dreams and I can happily say I am working so hard to create a life for myself that I'm proud of. I'm graduating from college this summer with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, something I never thought I would be capable of doing. I once hated school and everything involving potential failure. Now I wake up early every day to go to class, I work a part time job, I make videos, I love to cook, I go to yoga and I spend time with my friends. I found the time for everything I want and I'm not going to let anything stop me from getting to the place I know I can be.
Thank you guys for coming back after a much needed hiatus. I'm really excited to make the next step and to see where this all takes me.
January 6th, 2019
Happy New Year!
I hope that within these first six days you have thought about your future and the world in front of you.
I hope you know that this year is all yours.
For me; this past year was filled with reflection, self love, and personal development.
It was tough to say the least. At times I felt very low and those were followed with the best of days. It was very much an emotional roller coaster, but isn’t every year?
I’ve been thinking a lot about who I am, where I’m going, and what I expect of myself.
This year I want to be a better daughter.
A better sister.
A better granddaughter.
A better niece.
A better friend.
A better roommate.
A better woman.
A better human.
I want this year to be filled with more self discovery. I hope to find more of myself and to learn new things. I hope to change my mind and open it to new and exciting opportunities. I hope that 2019 is the year I will always remember.
But most of all what I hope for this year, is to spread the love this world truly needs.
See you soon, Katherine
Hello guys! I know it's been months since I've posted but I'm working hard to change a view parts about my blog. I flew home this weekend to South Florida for some much needed family time. I also had a chance to do some shopping.. of course.
My first stop was Nordstrom, because who doesn't love a good Nordstrom shopping trip?
I actually bought a few things from Topshop, mostly accessories but I did notice that Topshop was having a huge sale. I saw a ton of cute items and was amazed at the purse collection they had. So I decided it was time for another Favorite Fall Finds!
Incase you did not know, I love crossbody purses because they are reasonably priced, small enough to go travel with, and perfect for a night out. Below, I have shared 6 bags that I saw today and had to share with all of you. I actually purchased a purse today as well that is not on the website but it was 50% off! I will share a photo of it down below as well.
I'm getting major Gucci vibes from this Fall collection at Topshop!
Links will be included for all of the products, Happy shopping !
1. Betty Ball Stud Faux Leather Crossbody Bag - $31.20
This was the first bag I saw in Topshop and I fell in love at first sight! This bag would be perfect for a night out this season and I definitely don't mind the price.
2. Seline Faux Leather Crossbody Bag - $48.00
I actually have never owned a pastel colored bag but I thought this one as beautiful and perfect to go with a cute dress or skirt.
3. Buckle Faux Leather Crossbody Bag - $27.49
I actually used to have a bag that looked very similar to this and I love the box style. This bag would be so easy to pair with jeans or a jacket. Great price as well!
4. Seema Studded Faux Leather Shoulder Bag - $27.49
This one is a lot like the powder blue but I absolutely love the detailing of it. I think this would be so cute with some jeans and a sweater. ALSO a good price!
5. Panther Crossbody Bag - $48.00
This purse is my absolute favorite. I saw this bag and had to force myself to walk away because I'm on a budget. I love the look and the suede texture, it is beautiful. Both colors are amazing and so affordable!
6. My Mystery Purse
I was so lucky to find this bag for 50% off! I couldn't find it online but I did see a few in the clearance section of BP. It was only $23.89 and I love everything about it!
