Now that I have been living in Oxford for the last year and half, I figured it was time to share some of my favorite foodie spots! Below I listed my top 5 favorite restaurants for a night out or nice dinner. I also gave some examples of my favorite items and a few different options. Most of these restaurants are located on the Square or off North Lamar. These restaurants are fairly casual except Oxford Grillehouse which is the most formal. I enjoy these 5 restaurants and they are my go-to for a dinner when my family comes to town or with close friends. I hope y'all enjoy these yummy places too!

Top 5: Take Out Dinners
I personally love take out dinner on Valentines day and I always have. Whether it be Chinese or pizza you deserve to count the memories and not the calories this valentines day!

I usually grocery shop and meal prep on Sundays or Mondays. In Florida, I buy my groceries at Trader Joes or Publix and in Oxford, I shop at Kroger or the Chicory Market. I typically spend $50 per week on groceries and I have learned that eating out less and eating at home saves me so much money. Most of these items can be snacks as well as lunch and dinner.
The list below is directly what I keep in my fridge and in my shopping cart.
As a college student it can be very easy to fall into bad eating habits. Most of us college kids quickly learned that the Freshman 15 is very real. Personally, when I was in high school I didn't cook very often and never thought much of it. As it came closer to starting college I realized that I might not have a homemade meal for months. As I started my freshman year it became clear that it was much faster to buy pop tarts and ramen noodles than to cook. Thankfully, my dorm had a community kitchen on each floor so I knew I had to do something. After watching too many Tasty videos I finally figured out what I was doing. Today, cooking has become apart of my everyday lifestyle and I absolutely love it. Comment below on this if you guys would like to see more food/healthy lifestyle posts!
